For 7 over years Tam was the Senior Art Director of Ad Age and produced visual art for both print and online (adage.com). He designed and executed complex editorial packages for both print and digital, enhancing reader engagement and brand visibility. Produced impactful illustrations, photography, infographics and GIFs for editorial features, breaking news, honorifics, and special events. Led the successful rebranding of Ad Age, resulting in a 30% increase in reader engagement. Managed design budgets and negotiated vendor rates, optimizing project costs. in 2023 he designed the first ever Ad Age Web3 Marketing award set in the metaverse. During his tenure, he was awarded the Jesse H. Neal Award for Best Overall Art Direction/Design. This is a very small sampling of his work.

2023 Ad Age Web3 Marketing Awards

In 2023 Tam designed NFT trophies that honored 20 marketers who were leading Web3 marketing to be given away at Ad Age’s Web3 Conference set in the metaverse.
